On December 20–21, the 2025 China Biomanufacturing Industry Conference and Marine Biomanufacturing Exchange was successfully held in Sanya, Hainan. During the event, the 2025 China Biomanufacturing Awards were announced. GENEDARTwas honored with the "Annual Biomanufacturing Benchmark Product" award for its core product Greenvanil™ Vanillin, in recognition of the company’s continuous innovation and outstanding achievements in the field of biomanufacturing.

This award focuses on exemplary cases that demonstrate outstanding performance in technological breakthroughs, commercial implementation, and sustainable development. It highlights biomanufacturing achievements that have achieved large-scale application and possess clear industrial value and long-term growth potential, aiming to recognize key contributors driving industry progress. Winning this award fully reflects the industry's high recognition of GeneEDA's product technological maturity and industrial application practices.

Core Product: Greenvanil™ Natural Vanillin

GENEDART’s Greenvanil™ Natural Vanillin is produced using advanced bio-fermentation technology. Starting with ferulic acid—a pure substrate derived from non‑GMO rice bran—it is efficiently converted by microorganisms into vanillin with a purity of up to 99.5%. This production route adopts green purification processes, which not only comply with international natural flavor standards such as EU EC No 1334/2008 and support “clean label” claims, but also have obtained U.S. GRAS certification.

Greenvanil™ Natural Vanillin, independently developed and produced by GENEDART, has been selected for the 2025 “Innovation Tour – Sustainability Innovation” list organized by Vitafoods Europe NutriMarketing. With its natural and mild taste, authentic aroma, clear “natural” attribute, consistent quality, and stable supply, it perfectly meets the needs of modern, large‑scale food industry production and has gained wide recognition in overseas high‑end food and beverage markets.

Relying on 100% bio‑based raw materials and a low‑carbon biomanufacturing approach, Greenvanil™ Natural Vanillin truly embodies ESG sustainability principles, marking a shift toward a purer, safer, and more environmentally‑friendly future for vanillin production.

Winning the “Annual Biomanufacturing Benchmark Product” award is not only industry recognition of the product quality and process stability of Greenvanil™ Natural Vanillin, but also a systematic affirmation of its role in promoting sustainable manufacturing through a green biosynthetic pathway. Looking ahead, GENEDART will continue to deepen the synergy between synthetic biology and industrial application, accelerating the development of more green, efficient, and scalable biomanufacturing solutions, and contributing sustainable momentum to the low‑carbon transition of the industry and the global “dual‑carbon” goals.
